A new poem by me...enjoy

Songs are an important part of ours lives~
Hypnotizing us with their words
Like sending us on mini vacations
Allowing us to travel to another world
where we can escape and get lost
Re-living past memories
Or creating new beginnings
A place where there are no worries or priorities
Just pure freedom
And as we listen-
we are soothed & relaxed
by their rhythm
And in a few precious minutes
our lives are changed forever
And the singer’s voice-
though intoxicating, at times
Can caresses you like…
A soft delicate touch or a cozy sweater
So comforting~
That, as you concentrate intensely on every word
It seems like the song was written…
Just for You

To My Friend

You may not know this
But…
You make my days brighter
And
My give my nights comfort
And
Since you have been in my life-
It has felt more complete
And
Even though, it is impossible to see each other everyday
You are always in my thoughts
And
When we do meet
It is always interesting & pleasurable
And
The many talents that you possess
are endless
And
Your wisdom continues
to enlighten me
And
From you, I have learned and continue to learn
many great things

Hi Everyone,

Sorry, I know it has been awhile since my last post but I have been working many hours-thanks to Debbie (she's also my supervisor at work).

Anyway, I just started to write poetry, again. I have not thought about writitng poetry in 20 years, since I was in High School but the words just came to me.

I have written two poems this week. The first that I want to share with all of you is of course about Vincent.

Vincent
You are unlike no other
You are just a man
You are a shy one
You walk with a confident stride
You are approachable
You are always on guard
Your hands talk
you do not have to say a word
Your eyes dance
You express yourself well
Your smile is contagious
You bring happiness to many
You are always thinking of your next move
You will go on
Your talents are extraordinary
you are never noticed
You can “become” anyone
You are always “yourself”
You are just real
And this is what I love about
YOU

Other LOCI sighting...during "Flipped" shooting

Before "Silencer", Debbie and I went into NYC thinking we were going to see Vince and Katie but we happened to catch a glimpse of Chris Noth. I took this photo, (Debbie is wearing the shades!). She did get to shake his hand but he was just very bland towards her-She introduced herself and explained that she l iked him on the show and all he said was "Hi" and then when I went to shake his hand he just walked away. So, it was cool to see and meet him, because he shares the stage with Vince but that was about it.
The "Memorial" to Fulla-T, people just walking by thought that it was a real "rapper", which we thought was funny, Debbie actually told them it was for a LOCI episode.

The people that are touching the "memorial" pieces are from the LOCI studios, we noticed some from when we saw "Privilege" being filmed.

After the scene...went back to keep warm!
