I am new to this and am having a heck of a time getting on to blogger from google. Sorry for the delay.
Anyway, I live in the freezing SW.
I love to sew as well -- quilting, sewing for decorating, used to sew a lot of my own clothing but have so many other UFOs for the house as well as a quilt that was supposed to be finished two years ago. LOL
I clicked on your link to see what you did in terms of sewing and was concerned when I saw that you have your address listed. I hope you won't be offended if I make a suggestion, well more of a request -- please please remove your home address, there are a lot of crazy people out there.
I was so pleased to read your account and others of meeting VDO. He should be proud to have so many wonderful and enthusiastic fans. I wish I could have been there. Your generosity in publishing all the photos that you took has allowed all of us who could not, share your experience.
