The bodyguard is a NYPD policeman (Debbie and I found this out when we went to NYC two weeks ago when they were filming "Endgame") We actually got to see VDO getting dropped off at the studio but the "bodyguard" came out of the studio door & talked to us. He got real friendly with Debbie, (asked her about her accent & where she was from) it was a riot!!

They were only filming inside that day so unfortunatley I do not have any photos, only to comment that VDO was wearing a dark gray "The Beatles" hooded sweatshirt & jeans-he looked very HOT!!

A bodyguard for the former bouncer! But what a body to guard...

Jenn, I love it that he was wearing a Beatles shirt - my favourite man loves my favourite group!

Please carry on living the life for us.

It's too bad that they feel that there's a need for him to have a bodyguard, but it's a good thing the bodyguard's with the NYPD. I wonder if VDO picks his brain on being a cop? LOL!

I guess needs guarding because of (Debbie and I) chasing him around the city! LOL--just kidding
Anyway, we thought the exact same thing about that...seeking advice from him for the show, I wouldn't put it past him (Vincent). Thanks for visiting VDOvault.

Thanks for putting up the pictures. Be sure to approach you know who cautiously...I once heard a story about an incident that took place during the filming of the second season of CI (it happened close to the production offices) that makes VDO a little wary of fans. So I totally get the need for him to have a bodyguard (although I'd like to bitchslap the 'fan' who spooked him)

Did I forget to mention in my reply to your Noth sighting post that a certain someone might have been hung over and/or sleep deprived? I hear that story a lot from Noth groupies...he's single, he doesn't have kids, he's an actor, he doesn't usually have to get up early and he owns a bar. On the days when he has to be an early riser, I suppose he can be a bit less than friendly.

Hey OK vdovault that does make more sense now. When we saw him that day it was around 2p when he was coming out of his trailer, we are not big fans of his but it was still cool to see him, thats why it was a bit disappointing to get that kind of response to us thats all. The "fans" keep the show going! (Well you would hope so anyway-LOL)

to vdovault you mentioned you heard a story about an incident that took place during the filming of the second season of ci do you know exactly what the incident was if so do you know if there is an article that i could read on it

To Susan

The story I heard was from an acquaintance of mine who worked in the same building as the location of the LO:CI main sets (and since they are ill filming in the same location so I'm going to be a little vague about exactly where in NYC those sets are located so as not to easily provoke a repeat of the incident).

What I was told (and this was in a phone conversation so sorry I don't have a written article to point you to) is that apparently a disgruntled female 'fan' of VDO's showed up at this building figured out how to get on set and disrupted the day's filming and generally behaved in a crazy fashion in front of the cast and crew. She was escorted out of the area (and out of the building) by a member of the building's security (my friend observed the officer doing so and after the police showed up, my friend quizzed the officer in question and later called me with the story).

Since that day, the security in that building has been a lot tighter. My friend no longer works there but from what she told me I can understand why NYPD officers act as bodyguards on location shoots (where anyone on the street could more easily approach and threaten a cast or crew member).

As I said before it is unfortunate that there are 'fans' out there who behave this way, but that's the way things are in the world we live in today and I am glad that appropriate precautions are now taken to protect the cast and crew. Frankly I was surprised that security wasn't tighter before given how LO:CI started airing not long after 9/11, but then again maybe all of the available security types around NYC were off protecting terrorist targets and not 'crazed fan' targets.

Still my friend commented on how uneasy it felt to work in a building after something like that had happened. When my friend got a better job with someone else one of the things we discussed was how it would be nice to work someplace with pretty anonymous people and not have to worry about that kind of incident happening again.

So my advice to any fan who is going to approach someone with some level of celebrity is to do so with great caution...think of how spooked you would be if someone you didn't know showed up at your workplace and followed you around and behaved erratically and you'll understand why 'famous' people get a little cagey around 'fans'.

to vdovault i strongly agree with you on this subject im glad that the sercuity is now very tight and that the cast and crew are now more protected and i believe if you want to meet a celebrity be caution and show respect and act in a kind respectful and friendly way thank you for updating me on the incident

hey jenn, THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting such nice pics again. is it bad that i'm a bit jealous of your luck? ;)

and that bodyguard: i thought exactly the same as regina at the first moment - who protects whom? ;) but i can understand his need for a bodyguard, espescially after i've read the story from vdovault. there are a lot of scary people out there.
so, watch out, jenn. they might think you're a stalker after a while... ;)

Your a very lucky person Jenn to be able to see the cast in this way-stars need bodyguards on set, Vincent was once one himself, to Yul Bryner.
