Other LOCI sighting...during "Flipped" shooting

Before "Silencer", Debbie and I went into NYC thinking we were going to see Vince and Katie but we happened to catch a glimpse of Chris Noth. I took this photo, (Debbie is wearing the shades!). She did get to shake his hand but he was just very bland towards her-She introduced herself and explained that she l iked him on the show and all he said was "Hi" and then when I went to shake his hand he just walked away. So, it was cool to see and meet him, because he shares the stage with Vince but that was about it.
The "Memorial" to Fulla-T, people just walking by thought that it was a real "rapper", which we thought was funny, Debbie actually told them it was for a LOCI episode.

The people that are touching the "memorial" pieces are from the LOCI studios, we noticed some from when we saw "Privilege" being filmed.

Noth should be glad that anyone bothers to notice him on LO:CI, let alone speak to him on the street... I have heard he is a bit standoffish - especially when you compare him to the always kind and fan friendly Mr. D.

Jenn, have you heard any news about the supposed "Bobby-less" last episode? Is 'Endgame' the last episode of the season or is there one more? I am going out of my mind with all this speculation... and of course, NBC won't tell us anything!!

Lisa, the only thing I know is what everyone I think knows is that Katie is on the last episode, which is a Logan/Wheeler episode. I do not understand why it is going to be mentioned that the Captain askes why Wheeler & Eames' partners are "MIA". I mean that does not make any sense, ya know?

i agree with lisa he should be grateful and jenn i don't think he was very nice to you at all in fact he was very rude and i don't mean to offend anyone but he seems like a smartass snob to me in fact sometimes i wish nbc would get rid of him

Well, I am glad that he, at least, shook Debbie's hand that made the trip worth while, in a sense. I can be a bit shy but still I was standing right next to her! Hello!
And the fact that we got to see another episode being made. But I know what you are talking about Susan, he could have been a wee bit nicer.

Jenn ~

I don't get any of this end of season nonsense either... According to the 11 episodes per team / per season, Goren and Eames have one more after 'Rocketman' due, right??
If they (the writers and producers) want the show to get good ratings and get renewed, why are they taking the main reason we watch (Bobby, of course!)out of the last episode?? It just doesn't make any sense to me and is pissing me off royally! Vincent - and the show - deserve SO much better, IMHO.
Thanks for letting me vent a bit - I have been so aggravated and then 'TWAH' was on last night and got me even more verklempt - that episode just rips me up... *sniffle*

Lisa, I hope this helps...They are in "Rocketman" and "Endgame", they are their two last episodes which makes 11...The last episode for "Logan/Wheeler" is "Renewal" which is their 11th but Erbe just happens to have a cameo in that one.

Well you know, Noth comes off as a "cold fish" on TV too, so I guess it's just the way he really is in real life. Still though, good score on getting to see another episode being shot!!

If only we could clone Vincent, we could have him in every episode ans still give him time off in between!

I think Noth was out of order. Doesn't he know we love our Jenn? How much nicer to you Vincent has been.

Sorry that was me, being unable to spell!!
OK, now, I have often to repeat to myself 'No Noth, no Vincent' because our baby doll would have left had they not agreed the split-shift thing BUT, Noth has never struck me as the 'friendly' type, whereas Vincent simpy radiates warmth and charm. I AM biased of course, but I'm also a pretty good judge of character - even from 3,000 miles away ;0)

Maybe Noth gets tired of being asked...Whats Vincent like?! Thats probably what I would say if I ran into him ;)

If you really want to meet Noth, go by his bar/club The Cutting Room in NYC (I forget the address, but you can Google it if it matters that much to you). I understand Noth's fans get a much better reception from him when they try to meet him there.

Besides (and this applies to pretty much everyone in the cast and the guest stars) if they're out on the street shooting, you do have to remember that they're working and that at best they're a little distracted. If you think of how you might feel if someone you didn't know came up and introduced themselves to you right while you were in the middle of working on something, you might understand better how the actors feel.

Hey thanks for the tip VDOvault, much appreciated. And I don't mean to be rude but As for his attitude, he could have been a wee bit nicer to his fans, My friend paid him a compliment about his work and he just snubbed her--we had a much better reception from Mr. D'Onofrio on several occasions during shooting of the show, so it does depend on the individuality of the person/actor, too.

I know that Noth is not always the nicest guy to his fans (and I'm posting what I know so that when your friend hears it, she won't feel quite so insulted, I seriously doubt Noth meant any harm, although he was ill-mannered on that day)...but the fans do occasionally bite back

This story of the apocrypha chicks and the taping of the 'Inside The Actors Studio' show dedicated to various L&O cast members should crack you up a bit (and make your friend feel better) -- they had no fear of criticizing where Noth was less than mannerly (and they're both long-time fans of his).
